know god

Knowing God isn’t just a decision—it’s the beginning of a new life, the moment everything changes, and the first step toward the purpose you were created for.

What It Means to Know God
[1]
Lost Without Christ
Life apart from Christ leaves us lost in the grip of sin.
No matter how hard we try, we can’t reach the level of righteousness God requires. Our best efforts—attending church, performing good deeds, or reading Scripture—can’t bridge the gap between us and God’s perfect standard.
The truth is sobering: as long as we fall short, we’re left facing the consequences of sin—“For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).
[2]
Jesus' Mission
Jesus came to restore what sin had broken—the relationship between us and God.
On the cross at Skull Hill, He took the weight of our sins upon Himself, dying the death we deserved. But death couldn’t hold Him; He rose on the third day, offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe.
Jesus came to bring the dead to life, offering redemption to those separated from God by sin. (John 3:16)

Made for More
The restlessness you feel—the sense that something’s missing—comes from being made for more than this world.
You were created for a relationship with Jesus and for a home beyond this life, and nothing here can fill that void. When you know Jesus, He not only leads you toward your true home in heaven but also gives you purpose right now.
In Him, you find both where you belong and why you’re here. (Revelation 21:4)

Saying Yes to Christ
Trusting in Jesus begins with a simple, heartfelt conversation with God.
Acknowledge where you’ve been by admitting your need: “God, I know I’m a sinner and I’ve been far from You.” Believe in who Jesus is and what He’s done: “I believe Jesus died for my sins, rose from the dead, and makes a way for me to know You.”
Commit your life to Him: “I choose to follow You and give You my life from this day forward.” Finally, ask for His strength: “Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me live the life You’ve created me for.”
